Q: How much is shipping, handling, and processing?
A: S&H is $7.95 for the first bag purchased on packit.com, and $4.95 for each additional bag. There is a $10 surcharge for orders going to Alaska and Hawaii. We do not currently ship to Canada, Puerto Rico, or other U.S. territories.
Q: How long will my order take to process and ship?
A: After you place your order, you'll receive an initial email with the order information. That is followed by a second email once the order is processed with tracking and final order information. Processing an order takes between 24 and 48 hours. Please allow 10-15 days for shipping once the order is processed. Expedited 5-7 day shipping is available for a $5.00 surcharge.
Q: How will my order be shipped?
A: All orders are shipped in the same box via UPS Surepost (UPS ships to your local USPS post office, which then ships to your doorstep).
Q: Will you ship to PO Boxes?
A: No, we do not currently ship to PO Boxes.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: No, we do not currently ship internationally.
Q: Do you accept PayPal?
A: Sorry, we do not accept payment via PayPal at this time.
Q: Is my PackIt ethically manufactured?
A: PackIt coolers are manufactured in China in accordance with all international labor laws and factory etiquette.
Q: Can I keep hot food or a hot thermos in my PackIt?
A: A frozen PackIt is not optimal for a hot thermos; however, if you leave the PackIt out overnight it does insulate and keep any hot items warm.
Q: What if my PackIt does not stay cold for as long as I expect it to?
A: If your PackIt is not staying very cold for extended periods of time please make sure the PackIt gets a full 12-14 hours in the freezer. PackIts that are subject to warmer than room temperatures, or PackIts that are opened and closed frequently, will not stay as cold as long as others in more optimal environments.
Q: Is my PackIt airport-friendly as well?
A: Our bags are safe for airline travel. We are cleared through security because our non-toxic Eco-gel packs are not removable and are undetectable by security machines.
Q: What is the best way to clean my PackIt?
A: Hand wash with mild soap and warm water. Allow to air dry completely with flap open before freezing to prevent frost from forming on cooler. Do not use bleach. Please note that PackIts are not washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, or microwave safe.
Q: Does my PackIt come with a manufacturer's warranty?
A: Yes, the PackIt comes with a Manufacturer's Limited Warranty: This product is covered by a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, accidents, or improper handling. If you feel you have a defective product, you must email CustomerService@packit.com to begin the warranty claim process.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: If you are unhappy with your PackIt purchase for any reason, you may return it within 30 days of purchase and we will refund the price of the product. Please note that we do NOT refund shipping and handling charges.
